November 25, the North - North East China Direct Current Interconnection Station project went online in Hu Ludao city, Liaoning province, forming a connection between the northeastern electricity grid and the north china electricity grid. The project is the largest interconnection station in the world and aims to secure a safe connection between the two grids.
