Shanxi Decreases Coal Production to Keep Price

On December 3, influenced by the economic crisis, the Shanxi coal mine-owners found that their coal stock levels keep increasing while the price is declining. As a result, the whole coal industry decided to keep the price stable by slowing down the production. “This action is necessary to guarantee the healthy growth of coal industry,” an employee from the Shanxi Coal Industry Bureau said.
