British research institution CRU issued a positive forecast for China's commodity markets next year, despite sluggish performance in other countries. CRU predicted that global GDP will grow by 0.7 percent in 2009, while growth of China’s economy will remain above 7.9 percent, stimulated by the government's 4 trillion yuan investment package.
