Sanlu Declared Bankrupt

Sanlu Group, the Chinese dairy producer at the center of the melamine scandal, has been declared bankrupt by a court in the city of Shijiazhuang, according to the company's foreign partner Fonterra. Over the next six months, an agency appointed by the court will manage the company and sell its assets to pay creditors
