Huang Guangyu, the former chairman of retail appliance store Gome, was stripped of his executive position at Gome. His wife also resigned from her role as director, according to a Dec. 25 announcement by the company. Huang was arrested on alleged securities fraud on Nov. 24, and Gome has suspended trading since.
