Lenovo Denies Rumors of Yang’s Resignation

Computer giant Lenovo announced that Yang Yuanqing, its chairman, has no intention to resign. The statement put to rest rumors that Yang would be replaced by Lenovo’s founder, Liu Chuanzhi, after the company’s gloomy performance report. Lenovo’s gross revenue slipped by 6 percent year-on-year. Caijing learned that Lenovo would launch massive layoffs in China, after trimming jobs overseas.
