Investment Banks Raise Outlook on China Economy

» Analysts boosted their outlook on China's economy in 2009, after the release of first quarter economic data.
» Goldman Sachs raised their expectation for China's 2009 GDP growth to 8.3 percent from 6 percent, higher than the market average 7 percent prediction.
» UBS Securities also increased its prediction of China's GDP growth to up to 7.5 percent, due to the impact of the government stimulus policies.
» Morgan Stanley raised the forecast to 7 percent from its previous 5.5 percent.
