China Shenhua Coal Production, Sales Rise In April

» China Shenhua Energy Co. said coal production jumped 16.7 percent in April from a year ago, while sales rose 11.7 percent.
» The company produced 17.5 million tons of commercial coal in April and sold 22 million tons.
» In the first quarter, the company produced 51.8 million tons of coal, up 16 percent from a year earlier, while March output was up 25.5 percent to 19.2 million tons.
