» In the first four months this year, China's consumer goods industry reported a total output of 4,347 billion yuan, increasing 7.9 percent year on year.
» In April alone, the output of consumer goods industry reached 1205 billion yuan, up 11.45 percent year on year, compared with the 9 percent growth in March.
» The steady growth of consumer goods industry is supported by the rigid demand of food products and medicines as well as government's economic stimulus policies.
