Four Major Banks' New Loans Total 215-225 Bln Yuan in May

» China's largest bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, extended 65 billion yuan in new loans in May, Caijing learned from a senior executive at a state-owned bank.
» Bank of China, meanwhile, extended 70 to 80 billion yuan in new loans in May, topping the country's commercial banks.
» China Construction Bank, one of China's big four banks, extended 30 billion yuan worth of new loans in May, according to data shown to Caijing by a senior executive at a state-owned bank.
» Agricultural Bank of China extended 50 billion yuan in new loans in May.
