China Steel Association Says Rio-BHP Combination Monopolistic

» The China Iron & Steel Association strongly opposes BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto's joint venture deal agreed earlier this month, saying that the deal is creating a monopoly.
» BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto signed an agreement on June 5 to form a 50-50 joint venture, combining all current and future iron ore operations in Western Australia's Pilbara iron ore province.
