BOC to Extend Line of Credit to State Shipbuilding Corp.

» Bank of China Ltd. said it will provide 80 billion yuan credit to state-owned China State Shipbuilding Corp. to help support its expansion in shipbuilding, repairs and marine utilities.
» The lender will also provide credit support to the shipbuilding conglomerate's sales and exports.
» As of the end of May, BOC's loans and guarantees to domestic shipbuilders totaled 130 billion yuan.
