China Sees Lower Iron Ore Imports in June

» According to data from Port Hedland, China's June iron ore imports from the port declined 11.5 percent from May to 9.3 million tons.
» In May, about 20 percent of China's iron ore imports was transported from Port Hedland, the second largest iron ore port in Australia.
» Analysts predicted that China's iron ore imports would show a decline in June due to the rising stockpiling and price hikes in iron ore and transportation.
