» China's sovereign wealth fund has purchased 11 percent of global depository receipts of JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production at 939 million U.S. dollars, the latest in a flurry of resource deals by the fund.
» China Investment Corporation bought a stake in a Singaporean resources company and bonds of Indonesia's PT Bumi Resources Tbk last September.
» JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production is Kazakhstan's second largest oil company, with its shares listed on the central Asian country's stock market and Global Depository Receipts listed on the London Stock Exchange.
