» China might see "excessive" investment during
the first half of 2010, causing the economy to overheat, Zhang Hanya, a
researcher at the Investment Institute of the National Development and Reform
Commission, told Caijing.
» Fixed asset investment grew 33.4 percent to 15.5
trillion yuan in the first nine months.
» The number of new projects rose
41.2 percent in the first three quarters, with planned total investment up 83
percent, said Zhang, adding that the projects would require even more funding
during the first half of next year.
