China Starts Trade Probe on U.S. Auto Industry

» China has launched an anti-dumping investigation into specific types of American cars, China's Ministry of Commerce said.
» The investigation focuses on U.S.-made sedans and off-road vehicles with engine displacements of 2.0 liters and above.
» The decision was made after the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers filed an application for the investigation on Sept. 9, said the ministry.
