»On Feb.11, 2009, Fan Xian was sentenced to life imprisonment by Shanghai No.1 Intermediate People's Court for alleged bribery of 10.27 million yuan together with Chen Jie. He was also alleged to embezzle 57 million yuan in public assets and a bribery of 8.35 million yuan.
