U.S. Troops Withdrawing From Haiti
03-11 14:52 Caijing»According to an announcement from Embassy of the United States in Haiti on Mar.10, the U.S. will cut down the number of troops it sent to Haiti in the quake's wake from 2,000 to some 9,000.
»U.S. also said in the announcement that as Haiti recovered from the disaster and began reconstruction, the U.S. troops had fulfilled its missions.
»On Jan. 12, a 7.3-magnitude earthquake hit Haiti, killing more than 200,000
people and leaving 1.2 million homeless.
