A new terminal at Hongqiao International Airport was officially opened yesterday ahead of the opening of the Shanghai World Expo. The first airport sighting terrace was opened the same day.

Two airport terminals and two runways at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport came into use together after the opening of Terminal 2, which increased the airport's capacity by 60 percent.
